Booking
When we receive your booking, we will reserve a place on the course for you, and send you an email confirming the details. You must pay in full before you attend the training course. We will send you an invoice, which explains the different ways you can pay and where this is to be paid. Places are allotted on a “first come, first served” basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Joining the Course and Lateness
Courses normally take place at a local community venue. The location will be confirmed on the course advert and in the booking confirmation email. Please arrive promptly on or as close to the start time. If you do arrive late, it will be at the trainer’s discretion whether or not to allow you to join the course.
Non-attendance
All cases of non-attendance will incur a charge, this will be the full cost of the learners place on the course, or £30 which ever is grater. This will be invoiced on the day where there has been no attempt to notify the training coordinator.
Cancelling your Booking
If you can’t attend the course, please email training@ervas.org.uk so we can make your place available to someone else. You may be entitled to a refund, depending on when your email reaches us:
If it’s more than 10 working days before the start of the course: we will refund your payment in full.
If it’s 10 to 7 working days before the start of the course: we will refund 50% of your payment.
If it’s less than 7 working days before the start of the course: we will not refund your payment.
Changing Your Booking
You can change the named person attending the course, or transfer your booking/payment to a different course date, at no additional charge once within a six month period.
Online Training (provided via the CPD Portal)
Please be aware that all courses provided under the CPD portal are powered by The Skills Network. In order to study any of these courses, we will need to create an account for the learner on our online learning platform Equal. The details entered when registering will be used to set up the account. The email address provided by the learner is also the one we will use to send a purchase confirmation and next steps to. It is important to note, the name provided as part of the registration, will be the name used on the certificate.
