Timebank faces major Government cuts to funding

Timebank has learnt that they will no longer receive vital funding from the Office for Civil Society (OCS).
Their latest funding application to the OCS, which covers core running costs, has been rejected at the first stage.

Goole Courtyard's World Food Café opens on Saturday, 2 AprilRoast beef, Yorkshire puddings and gravy as well as other home grown favourites will be on the menu when Goole Courtyards World Food Café opens on Saturday, 2 April. The World Food Café menu will also feature food from around the globe to tempt diner's palettes, including dishes from Venezuela, Brazil, Portugal, Poland and Latvia.

Humber & Wolds Rural Community Council launches the first Rural Community Buildings website www.ruralcommunitybuildings.org.uk The first community building web site able to advertise the facilities and activities now available at community buildings across the East Riding of Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire will launch at the end of 2010. Village Halls and other community buildings across the region are now registering on the site and local people, local authorities, organisations, businesses and individuals will start to benefit from this unique facility within the next few weeks!
